Responsibilities include:

  1. Completing all activities listed in the Front Desk checklist.
  2. Performing marketing duties such as upselling to generate revenue.
  3. Providing excellent service and ensuring guest satisfaction.
  4. Following security and liability measures to protect assets.

Essential functions include:

  1. Maintaining professional appearance and conduct.
  2. Greeting guests warmly and responding to their requests.
  3. Providing information about hotel services and amenities.
  4. Maximizing occupancy and revenue through operational and selling techniques.
  5. Completing registration, handling payments, and check-out procedures.
  6. Communicating effectively with hotel departments and management.
  7. Handling guest complaints professionally.
  8. Adhering to safety, security, and emergency procedures.
  9. Operating front office systems and equipment.
  10. Working flexible hours as needed.

Qualifications:

  1. Previous hotel front desk experience preferred.
  2. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  3. Proficiency in English and basic computer skills.
  4. Ability to work flexible shifts and in stressful situations.
  5. High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
  6. Related experience in hospitality or customer service is a plus.

Physical demands include:

  • Standing for long periods, repetitive movements, and lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Visual and sensory capabilities for operating equipment.
