The Peninsula Chicago is actively seeking an Agent to join the Rooms Division and contribute to exceptional guest service on Michigan Avenue in Chicago.

Requirements include 2 years in luxury Front Office, Opera PMS familiarity, strong organization, and outstanding English communication. Competitive benefits, 401(k) with match, and an emphasis on guest-centric service are offered.

Qualifications

• 2 years of Front Office experience in luxury property.
• Knowledge of Opera PMS; some knowledge in Housekeeping preferred.
• Ability to deal with high work demand and pressure, with strong organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Front Desk operations and ensure smooth service.
• Adhere to Peninsula and Forbes standards.
• Maintain consistent performance per Peninsula and Forbes standards.
• Coordinate with other departments to create guest-centric experiences.
• Ensure compliance with Head Office database requirements.
• Ensure efficient handover of Front Desk duties.

The Peninsula Chicago is seeking an Agent to join our Rooms Division team and be an integral part of our guest-focused service.

Key Accountabilities:

• Ensure proper operation of all responsibilities of Front Desk operations
• Knowledgeable and fully adheres to both Peninsula and Forbes standards.
• Maintain consistency in performance in accordance with both Peninsula and Forbes standards
• Communicate with all departments to create a guest centric experience
• Be in full compliance with Head Office database requirements
• Ensure efficient operation of the Front Desk responsibilities with efficient handover

General Requirements:

• 2 years of Front Office experience in luxury property ideal
• Knowledge of PMS/Opera and some knowledge in Housekeeping department preferred
• Ability to deal with a high level of work demand and pressure, individual must have great organization skills.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
