Overview

Assist guests with arrival and departure, ensuring a positive experience.

Responsibilities
  1. Greet guests warmly, respond to requests, and provide information about hotel services and local attractions.
  2. Complete registration by inputting and retrieving information from the computer system, assign rooms based on guest needs, and prepare welcome materials.
  3. Verify credit cards, handle payments, and post charges using the computer system.
  4. Answer phone calls professionally, relay messages, and handle mail and packages.
  5. Process check-outs, ensure guest satisfaction, and handle any complaints or issues.
  6. Remain calm during emergencies and busy periods, following proper procedures.
  7. Maintain regular attendance and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  1. High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  2. Hotel experience is a plus.
  3. Proficient in calculator use and basic math.
  4. Excellent communication skills and patience in dealing with guests.
  5. Ability to stand for long periods and operate computer systems accurately.
  6. Ability to recognize emergency situations and respond appropriately.
  7. Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues and guests.
