Builders FirstSource is hiring an Inside Counter Sales representative in Layton, UT. You will assist customers in person and by phone, process orders, provide quotes, and help keep the showroom stocked.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years in building material industry preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential.
• Knowledge of building materials and applications helpful.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Office beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company during the sales process, gathering customer needs and acting as liaison among departments.
• Assist customers at the front counter and over the phone, processing orders and pricing requests.
• Enter and process orders quickly and accurately in the computer system.
• Maintain showroom organization and stock, ensuring product availability.
• Handle inquiries, provide quotes, and follow up with customers to close sales.
• Operate cash register and balance cash daily.
• Support safety procedures and participate in safety meetings.
