• Must pass pre-employment background check, drug test and physical.

Responsibilities

• Handle counter transactions of in-store goods.
• Process pre-payments for special order items not readily available on sales floor.
• Stock shelves when needed.
• Ensure quotes are completed for special order items and order acknowledgements are sent to purchasing.
• Answer phone calls and emails to engage with customers and resolve issues.
• Problem solve to ensure customer satisfaction and accuracy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Purpose

The Front Counter Sales clerk will provide a meaningful customer experience in a prompt and professional manner- exhibiting knowledge of our products and pairing the customer with the correct product.

Job Duties:

• Handle counter transactions of in-store goods
• Handling pre-payments for special order items that are not readily available on sales floor
• Stocking shelves when needed
• Making sure quotes are completed for special order items and ensuring order acknowledgement has been sent to and received by purchasing
• Answering phones calls and emails to engage with customers and resolve any issues that may be presented
• Problem solving to ensure customer satisfaction and accuracy
• Perform other duties as assigned
