Job summary

Rush Truck Centers is hiring a Parts Sales Representative - Front Counter in Irving, TX. The role focuses on selling vehicle parts to external customers at the counter or by phone, with emphasis on accurate SAP handling and order processing.

You will maintain service records, initiate retail orders, document all sales, and manage returns while supporting CSI and marketing activities; the position offers a solid benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six months’ experience in over the counter sales, preferably in a dealership or service setting.
• Familiarity with accounting and inventory tracking software.

Responsibilities

• Sell parts to external and account customers, over the counter, through the shop, or on the phone.
• Ensure all parts movements are performed in SAP in a timely manner.
• Keep repair orders updated in Service Link.
• Initiate all retail orders possible in Parts link.
• Ensure that all sales are properly documented per Rush policies to include signatures, checks and credit card slips.
• Issue credit for parts returned, ensuring the original invoice or number is available for verification.
• Responsible for core returns and completes all customer and vendor returns per procedure.
• Keep orderly records of all repair orders, invoices, and related documents.
• Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
• Solicit assigned accounts by phone.
• Participate in CSI and marketing initiatives.
