Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Baker at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg. You will prepare baked goods per recipes and production specs, following all culinary standards to ensure top quality in taste and appearance for guests.

Responsibilities include producing a variety of breads, pastries, and desserts from scratch, weighing ingredients, and maintaining proper bake shop organization and cleanliness. Flexible shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 1 year of related work experience.
• Experience in a specialized bakery or pastry role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check daily production schedules and prepare baked items from scratch.
• Accurately weigh ingredients, mix doughs and batters, and bake to perfection.
• Regulate oven temperatures and monitor baking times for proper textures and taste.
• Set up bake shop area, store items properly, and keep the area clean.
