Texas Health Physicians Group in Frisco, TX is seeking a Medical Office Receptionist for Internal Medicine 18138 to handle patient intake, check-in, scheduling, and front-desk duties in a fast-paced clinic.

The role requires a High School Diploma and six months of healthcare or clinical customer service experience; Epic experience is highly preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position with standard daytime hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Six months of healthcare experience in a clinical setting, or customer service experience in a clinical setting or office environment (Highly Preferred).
• Previous Epic experience (Highly Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, the Receptionist performs a variety of general administrative support duties for patient intake and clinic operations.
• Perform patient check-in at the time of visit and complete all paperwork to ensure efficient admitting and policy compliance.
• Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately.
• Schedule appointments according to office guidelines.
• Obtain accurate patient and insurance information, collecting copays and deductibles.
• Copy/scan patient access related materials into the electronic medical record.
• Prepare charts for patient appointments with all necessary information.
