Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Server for Ivy Living at a Playa Vista community in California. The role focuses on friendly, courteous service to residents, families, and visitors, with duties in dining areas and adjacent spaces, in alignment with the organization's mission and values.

Training is provided; prior experience is not required. Pay ranges from $18.42 to $19.42 per hour, and benefits are offered to eligible team members.

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but not required; training provided.
• Must be at least 16 years old with a work permit.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong desire to work with elderly and care for their needs.
• Written and verbal communication with staff, physicians, residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents, family members and visitors in a professional, courteous manner.
• Take orders accurately and enter into the POS system.
• Set up and break down tables.
• Adhere to proper serving techniques and etiquette.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork across departments.
