Job summary

Thrive Restaurant Group is seeking a Bartender in Fremont, NE to create a welcoming bar atmosphere while serving guests, mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and offering food with friendly service.

You will handle opening/closing side work, garnish drinks, and process guest checks, with compensation that includes tips on top of base wage. This position requires standing, good math and communication skills, and ability to operate bar equipment.

Qualifications

• A desire to care for others, grow, and learn.
• Able to operate blenders, frozen drink machines and other bar equipment.
• Stands during the entire shift.
• Transports glass racks up to 25 pounds up to 15 times per shift.
• Reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Mixes ingredients to prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (30%*).
• Interacts verbally with bar guests creating a friendly atmosphere (20%*).
• Serves food and drinks to bar guests (15%*).
• Completes opening/closing side work (15%*).
• Slices fruit and vegetable garnishes for drinks (5%*).
• Presents guest checks, makes change and handles card transactions (5%*).
• Relays food orders to the kitchen via POS system (5%*).
