Job summary

Thrive Restaurant Group is seeking a bartender to create a welcoming bar atmosphere while serving and engaging with guests. You will mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, coordinate with the kitchen, and perform opening/closing side work.

The role requires standing throughout the shift and the ability to handle frequent hand-washing and basic math for guest transactions. This is a tip-credit wage position with variable take-home pay based on tips.

Qualifications

• Desire to care for others and learn.
• A positive attitude.
• Able to operate blenders, frozen drink machines and other bar equipment.
• Stands during the entire shift.
• Frequent immersion of hands in water every five minutes.
• Ability to wipe down surfaces and manage basic tasks.

Responsibilities

• Mixes ingredients to prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Interacts with bar guests to create a friendly atmosphere.
• Serves food and drinks to bar guests.
• Completes opening and closing side work.
• Slices fruit and vegetable garnishes for drinks.
• Presents guest checks and handles transactions.
• Relays food orders to the kitchen via POS system.
• Supports kitchen orders when needed.
