Job summary

Surcheros Fresh Mex is seeking a General Manager to lead our Gray, GA restaurant. You’ll cultivate a positive culture for Guests and Team Members, drive performance, and model the Surcheros FRESH Core Values.

You’ll recruit and develop leaders, coach teams, ensure food safety and quality, and manage operations to deliver exceptional experiences while growing the store’s sales and profitability.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of restaurant management experience.
• Experience hiring, scheduling, coaching and performance management.
• Strong understanding of restaurant financials including labor, food cost, and P&L management.
• Food Safety/ServSafe Certification (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Lead People: build a positive, respectful culture and recruit, onboard and retain talent.
• Deliver an exceptional Guest Experience: uphold hospitality, food quality, cleanliness, speed and accuracy.
• Drive Restaurant Operations: manage daily operations, staffing, scheduling and health standards.
• Own the Business: take ownership of sales growth, profitability, labor, costs, waste and inventory.
• Build Your Community: engage with local schools and fundraising, lead local store marketing initiatives.
