GBU Corral, LLC dba Golden Corral is seeking energetic individuals to join our team as Food Prep Persons. The role involves preparing fresh fruits and vegetables for the buffet, following Golden Corral specifications, and maintaining high quality and presentation.

The position requires assisting guests during meal periods, keeping prep areas clean and organized, and following health department regulations to ensure safety and freshness of all items.

Responsibilities

• Prepares prep items according to product specifications.
• Maintains a standard inventory of prep items and updates guides as directed.
• Ensures optimum yield and proper rotation of products.
• Labels, dates, and rotates all bulk produce and prepped items.
• Ensures all items are stored in approved containers with proper labeling.
• Follows the buffet production system to ensure quality and shelf life.
• Notifies the Manager of discrepancies such as spoilage or waste.
• Assists the Buffet Attendant in maintaining a full, clean buffet.
• Maintains prep area cleanliness, including coolers and equipment.
• Performs duty roster and ensures cleanliness, service, and quality standards.
• Knows and follows health department laws and requirements.
• Performs guest assistance during meal periods.
