Job summary

Golden Corral is seeking energetic individuals to join our team as a Food Prep Person. Responsibilities include preparing fruits and vegetables according to product specifications, labeling and rotating items, and maintaining prep areas to support a fresh, high-quality buffet presentation.

You will assist in maintaining inventory, following the buffet production system, and helping guests during meal periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepares prep items according to Golden Corral product specifications and recipes.
• Maintains a standard inventory of prep items and updates guides as directed by management.
• Ensures optimum yield of products through the product cycle.
• Labels, dates, and rotates all bulk produce and prepped items.
• Ensures all food items are stored in approved, covered containers.
• Completes use and following of buffet production system to ensure quality and shelf life.
• Notifies the Manager of discrepancies such as spoilage or waste and assists in maintaining buffet cleanliness.
• Performs duties to help guests during meal periods.
