Job summary

The Golden Corral franchise location is seeking energetic individuals to join our food prep team. The Food Prep Person prepares prep items, handles fresh fruits and vegetables, and supports buffet quality and freshness.

You will follow product specifications, maintain inventory, ensure proper labeling and storage, assist with buffet presentation, and support guests during meal periods. The franchisee handles hiring decisions; apply online with the franchisee for consideration.

Qualifications

• Ability to prep fruits and vegetables according to recipes.
• Attention to freshness, quality, and portion control.
• Strong cleanliness and organization habits.

Responsibilities

• Prepares prep items according to Golden Corral product specifications and recipes.
• Maintains a standard inventory of prep items and updates guides as directed by management.
• Ensures optimum yield of products through the product cycle.
• Labels, dates, and rotates all bulk produce and prepped items.
• Ensures all food items are stored in approved, covered containers.
• Completes buffet production tasks to maintain quality and shelf life.
• Notifies the Manager of discrepancies such as spoilage or waste.
• Assists Buffet Attendant in maintaining a full, clean buffet.
• Performs administrative tasks and helps guests during meal periods.
