Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Perishable Department Associate to deliver fast, friendly, and accurate service while maintaining product presentation and safety standards. You will handle deliveries, stock meat and dairy items, and ensure proper rotation and labeling in a high-volume store environment.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and strong communication and customer service skills, with willingness to learn multiple tasks and adhere to company policies and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain enthusiastic customer awareness with fast, friendly, and accurate service.
• Assist associates and operate within the Perishable Department standards.
• Receive deliveries, rotate and store merchandise.
• Maintain proper product levels in meat, lunchmeat, dairy, and related areas.
• Clean and sanitize the department and ensure safety guidelines are followed.
• Follow Food Lion policies, procedures and advertising materials.
