Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Hyannis, MA is seeking team members for the Meat Department to receive, rotate, wrap, and merchandise fresh and processed meats while assisting members with questions and product recommendations.

You will weigh, package, label cuts, inspect deliveries, and keep cases stocked and clean, following safety standards and club policies to ensure a positive member experience.

This role emphasizes speed, accuracy, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• Prior experience working in a meat and/or deli department preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to Members by answering questions regarding meats, poultry, and seafood.
• Makes recommendations on food products when necessary.
• Weighs, packages, wraps, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Assists the meat cutter in packaging freshly cut meats and seafood.
• Inspects and stores meat upon delivery and maintains case stock and cleanliness.
