Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is hiring for a Meat Department role. You will receives, rotates, wraps, and merchandises fresh and processed meats, assists members, and supports seafood and deli sections. Uphold safety standards and ensure products are well stocked and accurately labeled.

Ideal candidates will have prior meat department experience, be able to lift up to 30 pounds, and work in a fast-paced supermarket environment. This full-time position offers weekly pay and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience working with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Knowledge of meat handling and safety standards preferred.
• Ability to assist Members and answer questions about products.

Responsibilities

• Receive, rotate, wrap and merchandise meats and seafood.
• Assist in merchandising deli products and cheeses.
• Weigh, package, wrap, label and label cuts of meat.
• Inspect and store meat upon delivery and ensure quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety across the meat department.
