Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Medford, MA is seeking team members to join the Meat Department to receive, rotate, wrap, and merchandise fresh and processed meats, and assist Members with questions and recommendations. Maintain safety standards and provide a positive member experience.

You will weigh, package, and label cuts of meat and seafood, stock cases, and ensure proper rotation and cleanliness. Join a fast-paced team dedicated to quality and member satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• Prior experience working in a meat and/or deli department preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to Members by answering questions regarding meats, poultry, and seafood.
• Weighs, packages, wraps, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Receives and unpacks meat, poultry, seafood, prepared foods, and cheeses in the meat cooler and freezer.
• Rotates meats, poultry, seafood, prepared foods, and cheeses according to expiration dates.
