Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking teammates for the Meat Department to receive, rotate, wrap, and merchandise fresh and processed meats. You will assist Members with questions and product recommendations while maintaining safety and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities include weighing and labeling cuts, restocking cases, and following club policies. Physical stamina and teamwork are essential for a fast-paced environment at BJ’s locations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in meat department preferred.
• Ability to operate wrapping machines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receives, rotates, wraps, and merchandises fresh and processed meats.
• Weighs, packages, wraps, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Inspects and stores meat upon delivery.
• Rotates meats, poultry, seafood, and cheeses according to expiration dates.
• Maintains full stock of meat, seafood, cheese cases; cleans and sanitizes areas.
