Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking team members for the Meat Department to weigh, wrap, label, and merchandise cuts of meat, poultry, seafood, and cheeses. You will assist Members with product questions and maintain stock and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include receiving deliveries, rotating products by expiration dates, and keeping displays clean and orderly. A positive, collaborative attitude and the ability to work with speed are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to Members by answering questions regarding meats, poultry, and seafood.
• Weights, packages, wraps, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood, including grinds.
• Inspects and stores meat upon delivery and ensures quality standards.
• Rotates meats, poultry, seafood, prepared foods, and cheeses according to expiration dates.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety in the meat department.
