Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Dallas is seeking a Meat Team Member to support counter service, stocking, and sanitation in the meat department. This role requires friendly, courteous service to customers and Team Members, with adherence to store SOPs and health and safety regulations.

You will help maintain displays, assist with sampling, manage back stock, and perform opening, mid, and closing duties while upholding WFM's standards and brand image.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand 6-8 hours in a day.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Adhere to health, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Provide courteous, friendly service and maintain brand image.

Responsibilities

• Ensures fresh, appealing displays by checking quality and stocking cases and shelving.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Assists with sampling, keeping areas full, clean, and appealing.
• Cleans cases, glass, signs, uprights, coolers, floors, and drains as required.
• Arrives on time, groomed, and prepared for shifts; attends trainings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques; answers phones promptly.
• Maximizes sales through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows procedures for weights, measures, health, sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Maintains clean and sanitary working/shopping environment; ensures equipment is clean and safe.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures pricing accuracy.
• Reports safety hazards and violations immediately.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
