Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is hiring for a Meat Department position in the United States. You will assist Members with questions about meats, poultry, and seafood, while weighing, packaging, wrapping, and labeling cuts to ensure quality and freshness.

You will keep cases stocked, rotated, and clean, maintain sanitation, and support team standards daily. Must be 18+ with prior meat/deli experience and wrapping-machine familiarity.

Qualifications

• Experience with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• Experience in a meat/deli department preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist Members by answering questions on meats, poultry, and seafood.
• Weigh, package, wrap, and label meat and seafood cuts.
• Inspect and store meat on delivery; ensure quality standards.
• Keep meat, seafood, prepared foods, and cheese cases stocked and rotated.
• Maintain sanitation of equipment, display fixtures, and areas in the department.
