Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a meat department team member to receive, rotate, wrap, and merchandize fresh and processed meats. You will assist members, answer questions, and ensure food safety standards are followed in a fast-paced retail environment.

Role involves weighing, packaging, labeling, stocking, and maintaining cleanliness of meat, seafood, and deli areas. Candidates should be 18+ and prepared for a physically active job in a retail setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Knowledge of wrapping machines preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to Members by answering questions regarding meats, poultry, and seafood.
• Weighs, packages, wraps, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Inspects and stores meat upon delivery and ensures quality standards.
• Rotates meats and maintains stocked cases.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment and displays in the meat department.
