Job summary

Golden Corral is seeking energetic individuals to join our team as Food Prep specialists. You will prep fresh fruits and vegetables for the buffet, following recipes and product specifications to ensure freshness and quality.

You will label, date, and rotate items, maintain prep area cleanliness, and assist Buffet Attendant to keep the buffet well stocked and presentable. Flexible schedule is available and uniforms are provided to support a smooth shift.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing fresh fruits and vegetables.
• Ability to follow recipes and product specifications.
• Committed to cleanliness and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepares prep items according to product specifications and recipes.
• Maintains a standard inventory of prep items and updates production guides.
• Labels, dates, and rotates all bulk produce and prepped items.
• Ensures all food items are stored in approved containers.
• Notifies management of discrepancies such as spoilage or waste.
• Assists the Buffet Attendant in maintaining a full, clean buffet.
• Cleans, maintains, and organizes prep area and equipment.
• Follows local health department laws and delivery timing.
