Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Deli Clerk to prepare and present fresh deli products while delivering excellent customer service. You will work in a fast-paced, health-focused environment and assist with special orders and party trays.

The role requires lifting up to 70 lbs, standing for long periods, and operating slicers and other deli equipment. A friendly, team-oriented attitude is essential to success.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Dependable and reliable with a positive attitude.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor and ability to interact with customers.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Good communication skills; able to take direction and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in making healthy choices by preparing fresh and easy meals.
• Ensure Deli items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented, and maintain cleanliness of the Deli area.
• Fill, maintain, and rotate products and displays.
• Prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate deli equipment (slicer, ovens, microwaves) following company standards.
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary deli area and equipment.
