Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Fresh Food Manager to lead our team in the fresh kitchen, ensuring smooth operation, high food safety standards, and excellent customer service. You will drive sales through efficient production, inventory control, and timely packaging, while maintaining schedules and reporting.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year(s) of food management experience, budget/P&L understanding, and supervision of at least five employees.

Qualifications

1+ years food management experience.
1+ years budgeting and P&L experience.
1+ years supervising and training 5+ employees.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check; additional screening may include a motor vehicle check and/or DOT physical.

Responsibilities

Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, with adherence to proper food safety procedures.
Drive sales through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation.
Oversee task execution, maintain schedule integrity, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
Work with team to prepare and package products promptly to maximize customer service.
Understand financial reporting, including profit and loss statements to drive business changes.
Collaborate with leadership in talent acquisition.
