Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Deli Clerk to assist customers, prepare fresh meals, and maintain deli displays in a fast-paced environment. You will ensure cleanliness, safety, and accurate product handling in the deli.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 with high school diploma or equivalent, and grocery/restaurant experience.
• Dependable and reliable.
• Outgoing, friendly, positive attitude with strong customer interaction.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Good communication and ability to work in a team environment.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs. in various directions for up to 4 hours.
• Able to stand for up to 4 hours per shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting healthy foods by preparing fresh and easy meals.
• Provide high level customer service and ensure deli items are prepared, packaged, presented, and clean.
• Fill, rotate, and maintain products and displays in the deli area.
• Prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate meat and cheese slicers, ovens, microwaves, cutting tools, scales, and other deli equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, sanitary deli area and equipment.
• Receive, inspect, and log products for accuracy of shipment, temperature, and quality.
