Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, or a suitable education/experience combination.
• Dependable and reliable with a friendly attitude.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Able to lift/carry up to 70 lbs. and stand for long periods.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the deli area.
• Operate deli equipment and follow safety/health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in choosing healthy options and preparing fresh meals.
• Provide high level of customer service and ensure proper preparation, packaging, and display of deli items.
• Fill, rotate, and maintain products and displays in the deli.
• Prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate slicers, ovens, microwaves, and other deli equipment.
• Keep deli area clean, safe, and sanitary; mop and sweep as needed.
• Receive, inspect, and log product shipments for quality and temperature.
