Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent and experience in grocery or related field.
• Be dependable and reliable.
• Outgoing, friendly behavior with a positive attitude and customer interaction skills.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Good communication and ability to take direction in a team.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Lift/carry up to 70 lbs. for distances up to 20 feet without assistance.
• Stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Perform general housekeeping in the department.
• Operate deli equipment and maintain equipment safety.
• Adhere to safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations; obtain Food Handlers permit.
• Work in cooler and freezer environments.

Responsabilités

• Assist customers in making healthy food choices by preparing fresh and easy meals.
• Provide high level of customer service and ensure deli items are prepared, packaged, presented, and clean.
• Fill, maintain, and rotate products and displays.
• Prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate slicers, ovens, microwaves, cutting tools, scales and other deli equipment per standards.
• Keep deli area and equipment clean, sanitary, and safe.
• Receive, inspect and log products for shipment accuracy and quality.
