Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is hiring a Deli Clerk to assist customers with fresh, healthy meal options and to maintain clean, inviting deli displays.

You’ll handle packaging, rotation of products, and special orders, while operating slicing and cooking equipment according to safety standards. Responsibilities include maintaining a sanitary deli area, lifting up to 70 lbs, and working a flexible schedule that may include nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a flexible schedule that changes as the business changes, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Good communication skills; ability to take direction and participate in a team environment.
• Able to lift/carry up to 70 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assisting customers in making healthy food choices by preparing fresh and easy meals.
• Ensure Deli items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented; keep Deli area clean.
• Fill, maintain, and rotate products and displays.
• Prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate deli equipment following company standards and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary deli area and equipment.
