Sprouts Farmers Market, LLC is hiring a Deli Clerk to support our fresh-food department. You will help customers choose healthy options, prepare meals, and keep the deli area clean and organized.

The role requires lifting up to 70 lbs, standing for long periods, and working flexible hours including nights and weekends. You will operate deli equipment, prepare special orders, and ensure products are properly displayed and rotated.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with high school diploma or equivalent; grocery/food service experience preferred.
• Dependable, reliable and friendly with good customer interactions.
• Able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities; able to take direction.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs. and stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Maintain cleanliness and operate deli equipment safely and in accordance with health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting healthy options and preparing fresh meals.
• Provide high level customer service and ensure deli items are prepared, packaged, and presented well.
• Fill, rotate, and display deli products; maintain cleanliness of deli area.
• Prepare special orders and party trays as needed.
• Operate deli equipment safely (slicers, ovens, microwaves, scales).
• Maintain sanitary deli area; clean shelves, floors, and equipment.
