Sprouts Farmers Market in Plano, TX is seeking a Deli Clerk to assist customers by preparing fresh and easy meals, keep the deli area clean, and present items attractively.

You will operate deli equipment, rotate stock, fulfill special orders, and ensure safety and hygiene while providing friendly service. A high school diploma or equivalent and reliability, flexibility to work nights/weekends, and ability to lift up to 70 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent and grocery/food service experience.
• Dependable and reliable with friendly customer interaction.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Good communication and ability to take direction in a team environment.
• Able to lift/carry up to 70 lbs. and stand for long periods.
• Must adhere to safety and health regulations and maintain a clean deli area.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in healthy food choices by preparing fresh meals.
• Provide high level of service and ensure deli items are prepared, packaged, and presented cleanly.
• Fill, rotate, and display products; prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate slicers, ovens, microwaves, and other deli equipment per standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe deli area and equipment; clean shelves and floors.
• Receive and log products for shipment quality and temperature.
