You will assist customers, prepare meals, stock and rotate deli items, and handle special orders while operating slicers and other equipment safely. The role requires reliability, a friendly attitude, the ability to work flexible hours, and the stamina to lift up to 70 lbs and stand for long shifts.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent and grocery/food-service experience.
• Be dependable, friendly, and able to interact positively with customers.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs. and stand for extended periods; operate deli equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in choosing healthy options and preparing fresh meals.
• Provide high levels of customer service and ensure proper deli prep, packaging, and cleanliness.
• Fill, rotate, and maintain deli displays and products.
• Prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate slicers, ovens, microwaves, scales and other deli equipment safely.
• Keep deli area clean, safe, and sanitary and follow health regulations.
• Receive and log shipments for accuracy and quality.
