Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Deli Clerk to assist customers and prepare fresh meals in a fast-paced deli. You will maintain product displays, fulfill special orders, and operate slicers and ovens with safety in mind.

Role requires a friendly, reliable team player who can work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and lift up to 70 lbs. Training covers sanitation and safety protocols to ensure high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 with a HS diploma or equivalent and grocery/food service experience.
• Dependable, reliable and has a positive attitude.
• Strong customer interactions and ability to follow directions.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights/weekends/holidays.
• Good communication skills and willingness to work in a team.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 70 lbs. and standing long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in making healthy food choices and prepare fresh meals.
• Ensure deli items are prepared, packaged, presented, and clean.
• Fill, rotate, and maintain displays; prepare special orders.
• Operate deli equipment safely and follow company standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe deli area and log shipments for accuracy.
