Job Title: Fresh Cut Clerk | Reports to: Produce Department Manager/Fresh Cut Manager

In this role, you’ll ensure our guests have access to delicious, freshly cut fruit and veggie platters—perfect for daily life, get-togethers, or special occasions! Your role in keeping our fresh cut department stocked and ready will encourage guests to return, trusting us for their entertaining needs.

Job Description

What You’ll Do: As a Fresh Cut Clerk at Festival Foods, your responsibilities include:

• Maintain Freshness: Keep appropriate stock levels by observing sales floor and cooler conditions, producing, stocking, and replenishing products as needed.
• Provide Exceptional Service: Deliver outstanding service to all guests, assist in finding products, and resolve concerns to ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness of work areas, shelving, and sales floors.
• Monitor Quality & Food Safety: Meet quality standards, maintain food safety logs, and meet quantity expectations by 10 am and 5 pm.
• Honor Commitments: Be punctual and notify in case of absences to find replacements.
• Support the Team: Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong Communication Skills: Effectively engage with guests, leaders, and team members, utilizing strong written and verbal skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Safety Awareness: Understand safety requirements and company policies, including proper lifting and tool safety.
• Equipment Proficiency: Ability to operate equipment such as power jacks, walk-behind lifts, WAVs, balers, and compactors.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The physical demands include standing for long periods, working in coolers, bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting up to 40 pounds, and performing repetitive tasks. Sensory abilities are needed to monitor the store and operate equipment.

This position may be part-time or full-time.
