Reports to: Produce Department Manager/Fresh Cut Manager

This role involves ensuring our guests have access to fresh, delicious fruit and veggie platters for daily use, gatherings, or special occasions. Your role in keeping the department stocked and appealing encourages repeat visits from our guests.

Job Description

What You’ll Do: As a Fresh Cut Clerk, your responsibilities include:

• Maintain Freshness: Keep stock levels appropriate by monitoring sales, coolers, and replenishing products as needed.
• Provide Exceptional Service: Deliver outstanding service, assist guests, resolve concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure Cleanliness: Keep work areas, shelves, and sales floors clean and organized.
• Monitor Quality & Food Safety: Meet quality standards, maintain food safety logs, and meet quantity expectations by 10 am and 5 pm.
• Honor Commitments: Maintain regular attendance, adhere to schedules, and provide notice for absences.
• Support the Team: Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For: To succeed, candidates should have:

• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to engage effectively with guests, team members, and leaders in a fast-paced environment.
• Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety policies, proper lifting techniques, and equipment safety.
• Equipment Proficiency: Ability to operate equipment such as power jacks, lifts, and balers.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

The physical requirements include standing for long periods, working in coolers, bending, lifting up to 40 pounds, and performing repetitive tasks. Accommodations can be provided for individuals with disabilities.
