Job Title: Fresh Cut Clerk
Reports to: Produce Department Manager/Fresh Cut Manager

This role involves ensuring our guests have access to fresh, delicious fruit and veggie platters suitable for daily use or special occasions. Your work in maintaining our fresh cut department stock will encourage guests to return, trusting us for their entertaining needs.

Job Description

What You’ll Do: Responsibilities include:

• Maintain Freshness: Keep stock levels appropriate by monitoring sales and coolers, producing, stocking, and replenishing products as needed.
• Provide Exceptional Service: Deliver outstanding service, assist guests, resolve concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure Cleanliness: Keep work areas, shelving, and sales floors clean and organized.
• Monitor Quality & Food Safety: Meet quality standards, maintain food safety logs, and meet quantity expectations by 10 am and 5 pm.
• Honor Commitments: Maintain regular attendance and give adequate notice for absences.
• Support the Team: Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For: To succeed, you should have:

• Strong Communication Skills: Effectively engage with guests and team members in a fast-paced environment.
• Safety Awareness: Understand safety policies, including proper lifting and tool safety.
• Equipment Proficiency: Ability to operate equipment such as power jacks, lifts, and balers.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Ability to stand for long periods, work in coolers, bend, stoop, and kneel.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally.
• Visual and sensory abilities to monitor displays and operate equipment.

Work Schedule: Part-time or full-time opportunities available.
