Job Title: Fresh Cut Clerk - Nights and Weekends
Reports to: Produce Department Manager/Fresh Cut Manager

In this role, you’ll help ensure our guests have access to delicious, freshly cut fruit and veggie platters—perfect for daily life, gatherings, or special occasions! Your role in keeping our fresh cut department stocked and ready will encourage guests to return, trusting us for their entertaining needs.

Job Description

What You’ll Do: As a Fresh Cut Clerk at Festival Foods, your responsibilities include:

• Maintain Freshness: Keep appropriate stock levels in the fresh cut department by monitoring sales and cooler conditions, producing, stocking, and replenishing products as needed.
• Provide Exceptional Service: Deliver outstanding service to all guests. Assist with finding products, resolve concerns, and ensure guest satisfaction, making things right when issues arise.
• Ensure Cleanliness: Keep the department organized and sanitized, including work areas, shelving, and sales floors.
• Monitor Quality & Food Safety: Meet quality standards, maintain accurate food safety logs, and meet quantity expectations by 10 am and 5 pm.
• Honor Commitments: Maintain regular, timely attendance and provide notice for occasional absences.
• Support the Team: Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For: To succeed as a Festival Foods Fresh Cut Clerk, you should have:

• Strong Communication Skills: Effectively engage with guests, leaders, and team members using strong written and verbal skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety requirements and policies, including proper lifting techniques and box cutter safety.
• Equipment Proficiency: Ability to operate equipment such as power jacks, walk-behind lifts, WAVs, balers, and compactors.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

The physical demands include standing for long periods, working in coolers, bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting up to 40 pounds, and performing repetitive tasks. Sensory abilities are required for monitoring, creating displays, and operating equipment. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.

Work Schedule: The role can be part-time or full-time.
