Job summary

Sun Country Airlines is seeking a Manager, Cargo Loading & Hazmat to lead safety, compliance, and performance for freighter operations. The role partners with internal teams, vendors, and Amazon stakeholders to ensure regulatory adherence and station readiness.

The manager will oversee the hazardous materials program, coordinate ground handling improvements, and drive continuous improvement across multiple freighter stations, with travel as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in aviation, operations, logistics, safety, business, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive airline, cargo, or ground operations experience.
• Experience with hazardous materials compliance, cargo operations, or regulatory oversight.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Hazardous Materials Program to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee operational performance across freighter stations including ground handling and safety.
• Conduct delay analysis and risk reporting with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams; travel to stations as needed.
• Lead station startup projects and manage outsourced vendors.
