Responsibilities

• Document management: Process, review, and file shipping documents (bills of lading, delivery receipts, and customs declarations).
• Data entry & audit: Input shipment data—such as weight, freight charges, and item descriptions—into company databases or ERP systems.
• Dispute resolution: Audit carrier invoices and shipping bills; identify overcharges, missing freight, or damages and file claims accordingly.
• Compliance & safety: Ensure all freight documentation meets federal, state, and internal regulations (e.g., DOT, OSHA, and customs).
• Cross-functional support: Communicate with truck drivers, 3PL providers, and customers to track deliveries and address any transit issues.
