Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Minimum age of 18 years.

Responsibilities

• Comply with federal, state, and railroad safety regulations.
• Coordinate train or railcar movement with signals and radio instructions.
• Operate track switches to determine train routes and ensure safe operations.
• Inspect train and equipment for safety and readiness during movement and at stops.
• Read and understand rule books and documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
