You will play a key role in moving freight safely, with training provided, outdoors in all weather, and opportunities for long-term career growth in a dynamic environment. This full-time role requires compliance with railroad safety rules, ability to work with a trainer, and readiness for 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all federal, state, and other applicable railroad safety and operational regulations.
• Communicate with team members using signals or radio to coordinate train movement.
• Operate track switches to determine the route of the train or rail equipment.
• Inspect the condition of the train and equipment for safety compliance.
• Utilize basic computer skills for electronic reporting and train documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
