Job summary

Missouri & Northern Arkansas Railroad Co Inc (MNA) in Carthage, MO is seeking a Conductor to move freight safely and efficiently. You will receive classroom and hands-on training, work outdoors in all weather, and have opportunities for growth in a dynamic railroad environment.

The role requires compliance with safety rules, effective communication, and the ability to operate to support rail operations. Full-time schedule includes nights, weekends, and on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Pre-employment physical, hearing, and vision medical review.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all applicable railroad safety and operational regulations.
• Communicate with team members using signals, or radio instructions to coordinate train movements.
• Operate track switches to determine routes for trains or rail equipment.
• Inspect trains and equipment for safety and readiness while in motion and stationary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
