Job summary

David Evans and Associates, Inc. is seeking a Freight Rail Client Team Leader / Senior Project Manager to lead business development and project delivery for rail/land development projects across the US. The role combines strategic market development with strong client management and project leadership.

The position offers remote work with onboarding in person for initial days; travel to client sites is expected as needed. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in civil rail design and a PE license.

Qualifications

• Requires civil engineering degree and PE license.
• Minimum 10 years’ civil engineering design experience with freight rail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new market opportunities aligned with the team.
• Manage full lifecycle client relationships; forecast sales and projects.
• Lead client negotiations and serve as main client contact for DEA.
• Oversee project delivery, budgets, risks, and quality.
• Mentor junior engineers and project managers; oversee staffing and pursuits.
