Job summary

BD is seeking a Freight Pay/Audit & Analytics role in the United States, reporting to the Associate Director, North America Transportation Compliance. You will support freight invoice audit and payment, carrier rate management, and transportation analytics across North America, coordinating with operations, carriers, and third-party providers to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2 years of experience in Supply Chain or related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of enterprise systems (SAP, JDE, BI, TMS) and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage third-party freight audit and payment providers for domestic and international invoices in North America.
• Audit, approve, pay, and reconcile transportation invoices accurately and timely.
• Monitor compliance with controls, terms, and payment procedures.
• Collaborate with operations, carriers, and providers to resolve billing discrepancies and inquiries.
• Monitor invoice aging and reporting to ensure timely payments and working capital management.
• Support carrier rate management and ensure rates and terms are communicated across systems.
• Develop, analyze, and report KPIs to measure performance and drive corrective actions.
• Leverage freight data analytics to identify cost-saving opportunities and standardize practices.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance compliance and cost performance.
• Serve as a point of contact for providers to resolve issues.
