Job summary

BD in the United States is seeking a Transportation Compliance professional to support freight audit, payment, carrier rate management, and analytics for North America.

You will oversee invoice auditing, ensure reporting integrity, collaborate with carriers, and drive cost savings through data-driven improvements and KPIs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2 years of experience in supply chain or a related area, with on-site work expected at multiple US locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required. BS in Supply Chain, Business Management, or similar preferred.
• 2 years of experience in supply chain or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage third-party freight audit and payment providers for North American invoices.
• Ensure timely audit, approval, and payment of transportation invoices and reconciliation.
• Monitor compliance with controls, terms, and payment procedures.
• Collaborate with operations, carriers, and providers to resolve billing issues.
• Monitor carrier invoice aging and open invoice reporting for working capital management.
• Support rate management; maintain rates and business rules across systems.
• Develop KPIs and reports to measure freight audit performance and trends.
• Leverage analytics to identify cost-saving opportunities and standardize practices.
• Lead continuous improvement to enhance compliance and transportation cost performance.
