Job summary

BD is seeking a Transportation Compliance professional to support freight audit, payment, carrier rate management, and analytics for North America. This role reports to the Associate Director and collaborates with operations, carriers, and payment providers to ensure accurate invoicing and effective working capital management.

The ideal candidate has a BS in a related field and about two years of supply chain experience, with familiarity in SAP/JDE/BI/TMS and a drive to improve cost efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; background in supply chain preferred.
• Approximately 2 years in Supply Chain or related field.
• Exposure to Transportation, Freight Payment, Analytics, or Financial Analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage third‑party freight audit and payment providers for domestic and international invoices across North America.
• Ensure timely audit, approval, payment, and reconciliation of transportation invoices.
• Monitor compliance with controls, terms, and payment procedures.
• Collaborate with operations, carriers, and providers to resolve billing discrepancies and inquiries.
• Monitor carrier invoice aging and open invoice reporting for timely payments.
• Support carrier rate management and communicate terms across systems.
• Develop and report KPIs to measure freight audit and payment performance.
• Leverage freight data analytics to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve processes.
• Lead continuous improvement to enhance compliance and cost performance.
• Serve as main liaison for providers to resolve issues.
