Job summary

BD in Plainfield, IN is seeking a Transportation Compliance professional to support freight pay/audit and analytics for North America. The role oversees invoice audit, payment, and carrier rate management, acting as the liaison between BD, carriers, and third‑party partners.

You will develop KPIs and use data analytics to drive cost savings and process improvements, ensuring compliance with controls and contractual terms across the NA network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2 years of experience in Supply Chain or related field preferred; internships considered.
• Understanding of enterprise systems (SAP, JDE, BI, TMS) to support metrics and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee third‑party freight audit and payment providers for North America.
• Audit, approve, and reconcile transportation invoices accurately.
• Monitor compliance with controls, terms, and payment procedures.
• Collaborate with operations, carriers, and providers to resolve billing issues.
• Develop and report KPIs to measure performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Lead continuous improvement to enhance compliance and cost performance.
• Be primary contact for providers and escalate issues as needed.
