Qualifications

• 2 years of related work experience in warehouse, distribution, supply chain, transportation or similar environment.
• Knowledge of LTL, hazardous materials regulations and DOT rules.
• Available to work days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all aspects of freight operations.
• Develop and implement procedures to meet department demands.
• Evaluate, manage, assign and supervise workloads.
• Supervise hourly staff and act as primary contact for workplace concerns.
• Ensure production goals by managing tonnage, payroll, and admin functions.
• Plan employee schedules to meet daily goals and reduce costs.
• Enforce all relevant policies and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Guide onboarding, coaching, and corrective actions for staff.
• Direct a team to meet or exceed productivity targets.
• Support hiring decisions and action plans for load and model improvements.
• Participate in safety and engagement committees.
